Dr. Moore and the team at Moore Family Dentistry have seen firsthand the value of a quality education. We also understand the necessity for skilled dental hygienists and technicians in this ever-growing field and feel compelled to do our part to help those interested in pursuing the dental arts achieve their goals.
To help offset the costs associated with earning a degree, we are excited to offer the following scholarships for the fall semester of 2019:
- $500 to the Dental Hygiene Program
- $500 to the Dental Assistant Program
These scholarships are only available to people currently enrolled or actively applying to a college or professional program in the fields listed above.
Essay Topic and Application Guidelines
To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must submit a 500+ word essay on the following topic:
What made you decide to pursue a career in the dental field and how will this scholarship impact your future goals?
Applications should be emailed to scholarships@mooresmilestoday.com and must be received by June 31, 2019
For proper consideration, your application will need to include:
- Your name, address, and phone number
- A link to your Facebook profile so that we can confirm your identity
- Information about the program you are or will be taking including the name, address, and phone number of the educational institute
Finalists
If you are named a finalist for the Moore Family Dentistry Scholarship, you will need to use your social networking skills to seal the deal. Post your essay on Facebook, Google+, and any other social networks you use and encourage your followers to like or share your essay. The two winners of our scholarship will be determined by the amount of social media “buzz” they are able to generate with their essays. Winners will be contacted by our office by August 31, 2019 and featured on our website as inspiration to others.
